Fahari Founder

Fahari was founded by UK accessories designer Julie Lawrence, whose designs have been featured in prestigious shops, magazines and advertising campaigns across the globe, including fashion capitals London, Paris and New York, where her designs were spotlighted during Fashion Week.

It was Julie’s passion for crafts that brought her to Zanzibar to share her knowledge with local people.

Managing Director

An experienced tailor who has dressed the likes of Naomi Campbell, Hasnuu was trained by Julie in bag and accessories making.

Hasnuu is now Fahari's Production Manager, Master Craftsman and co-trainer.
